Belle de Jour Planner

Which amongst your family and friends would you love the share the gift of Belle and why?

My sister.

You see, it has been 11 months and 5 days since my younger sister and I just stopped talking to each other. It was so abrupt – unexpected. We just kinda’ clashed and it ruined the entire year and it affected the relationships in our family. It’s so unlikely for close sisters like us to be in a situation like this and as the elder sister, I would like to take the first step in fixing the problem, to reach out and patch whatever hole there is. After all, it’s Christmas :)

I remember last year, she asked my mom for a planner and clueless as my mom, she bought the business-type kind of planner and it really pissed my sister off, because she’s young and beautiful and like most teens, she’s colorful! – so Bella! So I guess at 18, she deserves one good planner that would really suit her taste and style, and nothing would play the role well but the most talked about Belle de Jour 2009 Planner!

So if I’d be given a chance to own two of this fabulous Belle planners, I’d gladly share this gift with her.

Yona's Computer Lessons Jokes ;-)

I now allow her to play games on the PC and browse other kid-friendly sites. So far so good – she’s doing well especially on the mouse and keyboard orientation. It just surprised me how she used the new words she’s learned, nakakaloka!

On Backspace
One of her favorite pastimes is writing on our cemented floor using her colored chalk. One time as she was doodling something and didn’t like what she saw she just shouted “Backspace! Backspace!” as she was erasing her scribbles.

Hang or Just Isn’t Loading?
She was playing Barbie Dress Up when the PC started to act up, she said “Mommy, I can’t see the arrow!”, “Wait lang, I’ll fix itI said. As I was fixing it, nanggulo na naman “I want to play magnets na” so I said, “Wait, naka hang nga eh” She blurted Hang or it’s just not loading?!?

Oh, kids talaga!

The Best Christmas Party Ever

To date we’ve been through a lot of Christmas parties already but the one we attended today was the best because it was different and it was celebrated with the people my daughter loves the most (aside from us of course!) – her Kidsahoy family.

Like most Christmas parties there were gifts, Christmas songs and program of course but all were for the kids of FCED (Families & Children for Empowerment and Development). The program showcased talents of Kidsahoy – Kuya CJ played the guitar, Kuya Alon read a story for all of us, Ate Justine sang a very beautiful song which got me teary eyed, Kuya Enoch sang a song from High School Musical and the toddlers sang I wav to move it! move it!. Aside from that, 5 homeschooling kids (I forgot their names except Nicolle and Popet) performed a song and dance number and kiddos from FCED joined the fun too!

My little Yona did nothing – except to have fun! She didn’t perform on stage but she made a lot of people happy kasi she wasn’t in her usual grumpy self. She hugged everyone who greeted her “good morning Yona!” the moment she arrived and was lively all throughout – first in, last out kami no?!?. She had “dede” moments to refuel which was understandable because she consumed a lot of energy by jumping, running, drawing and jumping again! She gained new friends – Masheng and Jea and got reunited with BFFs Kylie and Caine. Got to meet Mommy Michelle and Mommy Leng too!

It was indeed a very memorable Christmas party for my little girl because she experienced the magic of giving and helped fellow kids make other children happy in their own little way.

Thank you Kidsahoy – especially Mommy J and Teacher A for giving us the chance to share. That amidst the financial challenges Marcelle and I are facing you made us realize that we can still make a difference. Thank you again and more power to Kidsahoy!

Today is the day!

Tahimik na naman ang Pilipinas

Walang nakawan, walang krimen

Sabi pa ng PNP: “mababa ang crime rate”

Sabi ng mga motorista: “Ideal day to travel, kasi walang traffic”

This happens every time may laban si Manny Pacquiao.

Sa amin? naku, napakatahimik. Daig pa ang Holy Week.

Di mo mahagilap si Dada, nasa mall or nasa Aliw Theatre or nasa Cuneta Astrodome.

Kung saan makakapanood ng fight.

Nanalo na naman si Manny Yoooohooooo!!!!

What's happening to my Multiply?

or is it just me?

I am not receiving new updates, even PMs and my Inbox shows nothing but posts posted this afternoon.
Sabi ni Mommy Grasyah “let Multiply rest” daw hahaha

My Top 10 Droppers – and more

And so I’m back to reality! Done reading with the 4th book of the Twilight Saga so I’m back to my old self! I haven’t slept all night because the book was like, urging me to read it before the break of dawn! Finished it at 5:17AM! Yooohooo!

I don’t have all day here to talk about twilight but would love to have coffee with someone who’s addicted as me to discuss some thoughts on the books and the movie of the year.

Today I’ll do the laundry who’s been left untouched since Monday last week, get a new blouse for Saturday, prepare another set of gifts for the less privileged kids, ready myself for Saturday :)

Now before I forget, here are my top 10 droppers for the last 30 days:

I still have the Twilight fever in me :)

I haven’t blog for, like, a week? Blame it on the Twilight Saga. It got me so hooked that I bored DH to death with my what-if-you’re-a-vampire out of nowhere questions, put a halt in Yona’s lessons, forgot about my obligations (talk about ALMOST bounced cheques and LATE courier pickups!) PLUS I really made an effort in beautifying all my personal sites with the Twilight theme, not to mention my new desktop wallpaper and a blog especially for Twilight. I even joined contests online! hahahahahaha I seldom do that for Pete’s sake!

It is consuming A LOT of my time :)

But did I ever feel guilty? NO. Surprisingly Twilight has brought me into a world only my addiction and I understand. With all the problems I am facing – a distraction is what I need. I haven’t got hooked on anything since Titanic – hmmm movie-wise yes. My fondness for the Harry Potter books are just mere fondness – unlike this one. It’s so different. The books bring me to another dimension that only fellow Twilight lover can comprehend – reading it makes me feel like being in Forks, WA. It’s like watching the entire movie as it really happens. I could feel the thrill and the emotions of the entire cast just by merely flipping the pages of the books.

I google the Cullens a lot too! and surprisingly I found a bunch of pictures to satisfy my cravings bwahahahahaha! They’re like humans to me – and I’m the vampire, thirsty of Twilight facts :)
