Got this tag from Jane and it took me days to consider things that makes me weird. So instead of thinking of just 6 things, I made 10! hahahahaha and I know I forgot a lot pa:
- I am a spaghetti lover. Who isn’t? But what’s weird about me is I eat it with rice whenever I have the chance. And may it be Italian, Filipino, Spageting Kalye (the one that you can buy for less than 5 cents on the streets or any bus terminal) – they’re all spaghetti to me. I eat all of them with so much gusto.

- I only wash our clothes twice a month or once a month when we’re busy – not because I am lazy but because I want it to pile up so I have an excuse to use the washing machine and at the same time save detergent and water. Think of the environment dearie
- I don’t eat egg yolks and tsiko fruit – because they’re “mabuhangin” – why? I don’t know. They just taste weird.
I use vinegar to wash & condition my hair – again, think of the environment dearie
just think of the chemicals seeping through your scalp, eeeeewwww! and it doesn’t smell bad, promise.
Hotoil? use mayonnaise instead – it’s the best. Sad part though, you’ll end up smelling like caesar’s salad when it’s not rinsed well
I don’t use deodorants but is using baking soda on my pits instead hahahahahah
believe me, it works really, really well!- I like sunsets but I hate twilights. i feel sick whenever i see one.
- I only eat bangus (milkfish) when it’s grilled.
- I don’t eat potatoes if mixed in any viand but I adore freshfries and mashed potatoes.
- I don’t eat tilapya because maitim siya hahahaha
- marami pa!!!
Now I am tagging Gertee, Lifetime Mom and Liza ![]()
I really wanted to finish my college education though it’s not one of my priorities right now. Don’t get me wrong, I am happy with what and where I am now, being a SAHM and having a husband and child who supports me in whatever I want to do but still, there’s this piece lacking that needs to be fulfilled in order for me to be complete. I tried online homestudy inquiries in the University of the Philippines but it took me time to settle all the requirements and pre-requisites and before I knew it, enrollment for this school year was already closed. Upset.
So I am back to internet surfing when I stumble upon a site offering Christian counseling degree online. A great site offering Christian counselling courses that if taken will enable you to help others through most common concerns like marriage counselling, coping with loss or death, Pastoral counselling for those who’s with tainted spiritual beliefs that needs guidance, and family therapy. I am a psychology student and was on my third year when I stopped because my former company gave me a promotion that I could not forego so I had to set my studies aside. Topics like these matter a lot to me so I checked their site on how to become a Christian counselor. I also noticed that there are many Christian counselling schools offering the same course but the big bonus here is that they offer this online and I can enroll wherever I am.
I finally got my Belle de Jour (n. bel duh zhoor’) planner today and it really impressed me
I love how detailed the planner was and all the perks I’m getting! Just imagine Php10,000 worth of discounts and P1,000 worth of freebies! It’s something to be happy about! Yooohoooo!

This planner is currently out of stock in stores so it’s a good thing that I won two planners for my entry in their blog contest: Share the Gift of Belle.
The rules are:
1. Make a list of what you want on your birthday
2. The list should be 15 numbers
3. Post the image of this award in your posting
4. Give it to 10 friends of yours.
Here are my wishes:
- Good health for the whole family.
- Safety not just for me but for the whole family as well.
- A massage, face spa, new haircut and a little make-over will do.
- A new authentic bag.
- A new wallet.
- New pair of shoes, ballet flats to be specific.
- A new car – SUV preferably.
- A trip to Bora or Bohol.
- A trip to Japan or Hongkong or Singapore.
- A new wedding band for us.
- A not-so-grand church wedding.
- A house renovation.
- Enough money to payoff my debts and mortgage in full.
- A new HDTv for hubby and Yona.
- A laptop for me
We don’t.
We’re not weird just because we do not celebrate valentines day. It’s just that we’re in love everyday and does not have to be reminded about it in an occasion celebrated by everyone. Another thing, one single dinner on valentine’s day is so costly – so I really won’t appreciate it. Chocolates, flowers, plushies don’t appeal to me as well. Gifts? I love it but we’re too poor for that. He doesn’t have to treat me out to dinner, buy me expensive flowers or give me extravagant gifts to remind me of how much he loves me – because he shows that to me each day.
Treating me well every single day since the day we met is something I am going to cherish for the rest of our lives. I could not remember a day when he ignored or neglected me. Hubby loves me so much that I was able to forgive him for the simple things we have fought about before. He’s just human after all. But beyond that I could see that his love for me, for us is incomparable. And he doesn’t have to spend a cent just to show me how much we are to him.

My fingers want me to type but I have nothing in mind worth blogging. Maybe it’s because I was so busy texting all day, to whom I won’t tell. But I have the urge to blog…blog..blog…
Oh here, hubby handed me a magic card when he arrived home and he saw the glow in my eyes hahahaha Just goes to show that I am really a shopaholic by heart but I have to cut back really, a little spending will do us harm – that’s how pathetic we are these days. So just the sight of the scratchless credit card made my heart palpitate hahahahahaha
The card has a bonus of P3K worth of Adidas items granted that you buy P2K worth of grocery items – oh boy! oh boy! cashing! cashing! I went ballistic. It’s been years boy, years!
I had a meet-up scheduled yesterday with BL. She ordered a bunch of Ben 10 and High School Musical items from my store but the problem was, it was needed today so shipping the items were no longer possible. I was also eager to meet her and as an added bonus, she invited me to watch Anton Diva and Le Chazz (am I right?) perform so I couldn’t say no to the meet-up
As I was waiting for her my eyes feasted on gowns, gowns and more gowns showcased by the chinese (and the not so chinese!) community in Makati Shangrila. It seems that there were at least 5 wedding receptions held in the place (at least that’s how many I’ve counted) – why not? It’s Chinese New Year so it’s probably the best time to get married for the Chinese peeps.
Now back to the gowns. I have this dream of getting married in the Catholic church and wear the wedding gown of my dreams – that would be soon. I hope. I dream.
If you were to choose between these two gowns, what will your choice be?

For me, it would depend on the location of the wedding. The first one is so formal but the second one looks so playful and if my dream garden wedding would push through – I’d definitely go for gown number two! Not to mention my daughter’s vote will go to this gown
Hubby and I were talking about the economic crisis the whole world is facing right now and how it has affected every living individual especially the ones in the working sector. I was teasing him because sales were good in my online store considering that it’s just the end of the holiday season and January is supposed to be considered a lean month in any business. I told him that he should engage in a business too, just in case he gets laid off any moment – it’s the trend, company laying off people and company sections being dissolved without prior notice.
We were thinking of ideas on how we could survive, so far we came up with the idea of putting up a small wet market in front of our apartment. Our location is good as it’s on the main road and the nearest wet market is 500 meters away. The traffic is also good in our place so the idea is really feasible.
Cost cutting also crossed our minds as we really need – as in really need to cost cut. We came up with a list of things that we should remove from our routine: malling every other day, unnecessary visits to the grocery, frequent travels, etc etc etc. I jokingly told him that since we are not maintaining any phone lines naman, we need to have our electricity and water lines cut na lang hahahahaha. So we imagined life without electricity and water:

It’s like killing my insanity little by little.
We live a very simple life but we have certain items at home that really needs electricity to function:
- fridge: i can’t live without cold water.
- bulbs and lamps: oh my, i can’t live without light!
- electric fans: especially these!
- computer: i can’t last a day without logging in.
- television: my daughter is not happy with the idea of turning the tv off.
As for the water:
- Wilkins’ so expensive – we can’t afford it
- We need to take a bath and clean ourselves everyday
etcetera…etcetera…
Three words: I.WON’T.SURVIVE.

This is so fantastic! I submitted my entry at the last minute na but I still won yipppeee!
Thanks to Mommy Rowena for the information!
By winning this contest I’ll be getting two planners, yebbbbaaa!
