Hula Dance Class Day

I started the day very early (6am) as I still have to prepare Yona’s things, press our clothes and fix breakfast before she gets up. Yona woke up 30 minutes later, buti na lang everything was prepared na before she woke up or else she’ll bombard me with “I don’t want to use that shirt” or “Can I bring this instead?” litanya. She’s so noisy even in the morning. Sobra.

Yona and I left Bacoor around 830am, rode a van to MRT Taft – she was so sleepy wawa naman. Walked a mile from Savers to MRT station – gracious it felt like a mile because we had to go up the pink foot bridge instead of crossing taft na lang! at karga ko kaya si Yona? hello… you just can’t make her walk. She said she was tired and she’ll die if I let her walk. Hay naku…

The Hula Class went well – at least for me and the rest of our classmates. Yona still won’t dance. At ayoko ng pilitin. I told her that we went there to dance so we SHOULD dance and that she was so UNFAIR for keeping me from dancing – sabi niya I was unfair because I was forcing her to dance when all she wanted to do was paint…grrr…ok fine. I really hate arguing with her kasi talagang napipikon niya ako.

Dada fetched us and we ate lunch in Gateway. I was eating my chicken when I remembered to buy curtain fabrics in Divisoria – so sinama namin si Yona! hahaha

I knew that she was so curious what the place I call “Muddy Mud Mud” looks like so now I satisfied her curiosity by letting her experience Divisoria on a Saturday!

FOR TODAY JANUARY 9, 2009
Outside my window…
is a cat purring…wanting me to adopt her. but we already have 2 little chicks (named purple and pink) inside our tiny house and i can’t afford another pet.

I am thinking…
of ideas on how to make it bigtime in 2009.

I am thankful for…
all the blessings, big and small God has given my family.

From the learning rooms…
it’s a mess actually! but i’m brewing up something to make homeschool more productive this year.

From the kitchen…lunch smells ham left-overs and daing from leyte. i still don’t have the energy to wash the dishes from today’s breakfast. i am too tired.

I am wearing…
a white shirt and a red flirty shorts. i want to be comfortable.

I am creating…
a new blog…for my banana diet that will start on monday. oh my God, i hope this works.

I am going…
to Kidsahoy tomorrow yippeee!

I am reading…
a lot of books lately, i got an excuse for reading all day – may sakit ako bwahahahaha

I am hoping…
that we can recover this year

I am hearing…
news on Q!

Around the house…
lies yona’s colored blocks, crayons, papers, etc. everything’s a mess because i have not started cleaning yet. i am tired and sick.

A few plans for the rest of the week:
attend a hula class and fix the house.

i was blog hopping this morning when i encountered this meme from “the simple woman’s daybook“.

Di ako madalas magkasakit pero pag nagkasakit naman, sobrang OA.

Mula January 1 inuubo at sinisipon na ako. Saturday, may fever na ako and until now, wala pa rin ako sa huwisyo. Wala ng lagnat pero masakit pa rin buong katawan ko, may dry cough at sipon pa rin. Ang masaya pa nito, pati si Yayoe nahawaan ko na kasi gusto niya – para “same – same” daw kami – tama ba naman yun?!?!

I remember last year, more than a month tinagal ng ubo ko.
Ang dami ko pa namang gustong asikasuhin to start the year right pero parang mali na ang simula ng taon
