July 10, 2009
I allotted a day to pickup all the prizes I accumulated for May – June 2009.
Para di sayang pamasahe.

I got two prizes from Makati and two from Mandaluyong so talagang sulit.

The first stop was in Paseo de Roxas, Makati. You know how it is in Makati, it requires a lot of walking, climbing of stairs and yes, more walking! Not to mention elevators and all. It’s one reason why I can’t work there – I simply hate walking. But since I was getting prizes for my winnings and I couldn’t afford a taxi cab – I need to do it.

I got my prize in Mom’s Today office for Yona’s appearance in their May – June issue.

“Kikay caught Sleeping
I got the following from Medi Marketing:
Growee shirt which Dada hates *you know, groweeeeee! LOL*
Growee mobile phone holder
Growee Spoon and Fork Set
Growee Bag
Growee Water Container
A pack of body wash and wipes from Lactacyd
*not bad, huh?*

Next stop was still in Paseo de Roxas but on the other end. I had to walk several miles, climb a dozen stairs and mistakenly ride a freaking elevator UP when I was supposed to be going DOWN! It was so freaky but I have to post it on another blog. My elevator experiences deserve a special post only for them.

I claimed the Krispy Kreme GC I won from Pinoy Cravings. Too bad I got disqualified from the other host :(

*Yum-yum-yum*

I rode a bus to Pioneer because I need to get my L’oreal White Perfect Pearl Duo Powder from Summit Media. I am not so into make-ups but when my friend Maiet told me how much that prize is, I changed my mind and emailed Trixie that I was willing to get the prize hahaha
That’s why we are branded as being fickle-minded, right?
We have every right to change our minds, ANYTIME.

*I Actually have no idea how in the world I am going to use it!*

Here’s my entry for Shop Crazy’ contest:

“I lost all the opportunities to be pretty since I rarely go out. To add insult to injury, I have uneven skin tone which makes me hate my natural morena color. I need products that would solve this dilemma and to gain back the confidence that I once had. I am 28 and yet I feel 40. My 3-year-old daughter has pearly white skin, and it’s so sad that people who don’t know us think I am her yaya.”

O di ba, bongga!?!?!

Since I was already in Summit Media, kinuha ko na din yung prize ni Yona na Disney Calendar for April Issue.
Yes, April! supposed to be the prize was already forfeited. Hello…it’s already July!
But then again, wala namang di nadadaan sa magandang usapan :)

Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

Funny thing though, the staff of Summit Media REALLY asked for Yona’s birth certificate or any proof that she was indeed my daughter. I told her that I haven’t got any except for Yona’s health card and some pixies and vids on my phone. Silly girl.
Napagkamalan na naman akong yaya. Enough said.

I don’t really mind at all because one thing is certain, my daughter is very pretty :)
