Yes, September 1st :D

Filipinos celebrate the longest Christmas season in the world. As early as September 1st, one could hear Christmas carols being played and Christmas shopping will already start as well.

You would see houses adorned with Christmas ornaments and would hear people greeting each other a very advanced “Merry Christmas” or “Maligayang Pasko”.

Here are some facts I got online:
1. The first Christmas celebrated in the Philippines was in 1565, when Spanish colonizers brought the holiday to the islands.
2. “Maligayang Pasko” means “Merry Christmas” in the Philippines.
3. Traditional foods served for Noche Buena are ham or roast pig, cheeses, spring rolls, noodle dishes, chestnuts, and hot “tsokolate” (a native chocolate drink) and “salabat” (ginger tea). “Biblingka,” a pancake served in a banana leaf and topped with coconut and brown sugar, is a favorite dessert.
Maligayang Pasko sa lahat!

But I can’t, sweetie :(
There’s nothing more hurtful than hearing these words from my little girl. Not that I don’t like to, but I just can’t because she needs to learn her lesson and pay the price for showing unacceptable behavior in front of everyone else.
Last Saturday we were in Kidsahoy. Her Tiny Tunes class was about to start when she was asked to remove her socks but instead of just handing it to me, she threw it instead. For me and for everyone else, it was really foul. It was uncalled-for rudeness.
Her Teacher talked to her but instead of doing the right way (getting the socks and handing it to me) she threw it again instead. It went on for several minutes until she was pulled out from her class because she was already crying. A part of me wants to hug her and tell her that “it’s just okay, Mommy can pick it up for you” but I know that she did something bad and her not joining the class was enough punishment for her bad deed.
It took her an hour to finally settle down. I really cried because I felt frustrated, I trained her to be always nice to people and as a stay at home mom, I felt like the blame was purely on me. What surprises me is that my daughter is the opposite at home, she is one responsible kid but she’s a total brat when we’re with other people. That I don’t understand.
Her actions did not make me angry, it humiliated me.
Tita Dee, Teacher Aia’s (her artclass teacher) mom told me that it’s just a phase that will eventually pass but she has to be taught that it isn’t right otherwise she would think that it’s just okay.

It will be another busy week but here I am doing…nothing.

I am supposed to be writing some contents for our vacuum cleaner website but I am too lazy to start with anything. I should also be doing final touches on our Phil and Ted’s website but yes, I am too lazy.
Lazy. Lazy. Lazy.

I turned into a semi-vegan from a real pork-babe. I used to eat pork everyday but felt that aside from getting heavier, I was feeling a bit hmmmm not-so-good. I am from a family cursed with hypertension and heart diseases hence the decision to go vegan.

Three weeks ago my husband who’s proudly Ilocano – and by the way survives without pork for years helped me in this journey. It was not easy at all. I, who eats pork morning, noon and night suddenly turns vegan? Crazy.
Now, I am calling myself semi-vegan because I still eat pork used in certain viands, I just don’t feel right when I eat pure pork viands. There has to be veggies. But sooner or later, I am looking forward to the days when I will no longer crave for porky :D
What are the benefits of going porkless?
As I have read in one site: No beef, no pork, no poultry, no problem!
To start this process I am getting a detox kit online. A detoxifying kit is available to help you eliminate all the toxins in the body using the best natural ingredients. This process is a must if you want to start a healthy life like me :D
I will be availing hair detox kits that promise to detoxify me by 100% at the end of the program. I got this because this is the safest since it is all natural. For $124.99, I am getting the following in the set:
1. Pre-Tox Master capsules for ten days
2. All natural herbal Clean Master Tea
3. 32oz bottle of QCarbo 1-shot Super Cleansing Formula
4. Get Clean Shampoo
5. Home Test Kit
6. Quick Fizz Detox Tablets
It’s never too late to detoxify!
When I was still working I often hear the words Random Drug Testing every month. I do not really mind because I do not do drugs. I knew some people who are into it but I am amazed at how they would pass drug tests when in fact I knew that they were hooked to it. Their answers? – detoxify.
How they do this is quizzical to someone drug-naive like me. Yes, I can not distinguish shabu from alum :D
My friends would use detoxification products that will cleanse their body and eliminate toxins and drug residues. Being 100% legal, health magazines such as Glamour, Men’s Health have mentioned these cleansing products as easy to use, very effective and extremely safe.
I am thinking of availing alternative detoxifying products not because I need to pass a drug test but because I know that my body needs it. I think I just need to buy detox online an choose from their wide array of detoxifying products that utilizes natural ingredients to help in cleansing the body’s system.

For almost a year now I’ve been earning money from sponsored reviews, paid posts, and other ways to monetize my blogs. If you want to go into something like this, please bear in mind that it would definitely not happen overnight. You need patience and time to search for the right and yes, paying companies who will not just use your posts but will pay for your hard work.

This morning a friend of mine sent me a to Link from Blog, a company that pays for every review you make for the advertiser.
Here are some of Link from Blog’s good points:
1. Fast blog approval – They approve blogs within 24 hours.
2. Low payout threshold – $50
3. Sign-Up Bonus – get $4 upon sign-up and blog approval
4. Secured Paypal Payout process
Most of my blogger friends who signed up just a few days ago already got their payments so I am counting on getting mine next week. I have a several opportunities to submit today so more or less I would be able to complete my $50 in a few days time.

Everyday is a constant struggle for $$$. Now that I am working for people who pays me in $$$, I am already conscious with how much a $ is to P :D

I look for more ways to earn to make both ends meet and encountering a blog paying services like Link from Blog is a blessing. The payout is small, just $50 and you will also receive a sign up bonus. Link from Blog is also generous with opportunities.
Let’s earn together, click below to sign-up!

Entrepremom is turning 29 next week, September 2, 2009 to be exact. I am not asking for too much, just a laptop from hubby and a kiss from Yoe + greetings from relatives and friends, of course.

I grew up in a let’s-celebrate-instead-of-giving-you-a-gift family so every year I survived birthdays without gifts but we always celebrated no matter how poor we were. I could still remember my debut, we celebrated it with a box of pizza because mom was really, really broke that time. We just had our midterm exams so we were penniless.
This year is no different but I am now more than willing to accept gifts from friends :D
You can send through the following options:
- Paypal
- Gcash
- Bank Deposit
- Messenger
JOKE :D
What about the laptop? you may say. We need the laptop, period. Hubs is technically salary-less though he’s not jobless so we need to find a way to earn more and make use his FL days :D
This year, because I am turning 29 – I made sure I bought something for me. Something that I would appreciate, something useful and something that I really, really like:
Dong-A Gel Pens in Different Colors
I need it because I need to work on my penmanship. Been relying on keyboard too much that my penmanship is hmmm…getting worse. I am so particular with it and even gifted (or so I thought!) to imitate someone else’s penmanship.

The Time Traveler’s Wife novel
A must read :D I need to read the book first before watching the movie.
So there, it’s so mababaw. I would have opted for a more techie gift like a new TV or new phone or an iTouch. But it would not make me happy, and I don’t need it. Besides, I am already thankful for a lot of things, my family, good health, my job, my friends and of course internet access :D
Advance Happy Birthday to me!

My dear daughter is celebrating her 4th birthday on September 11, 2009. Last year her party was uhmmm…there was really no party! There was just the 3 of us because we were broke then. But our house was full of balloons and decors…just no visitors :)

This year we are planning to celebrate it with her Kidsahoy classmates. It is going to be a private party with limited guests, just her closest classmates (we are not even inviting relatives, LOL). It’s hard to relax when you have to entertain people, right?
We are still on a budget thus we shall only focus on the important stuff. Her 4th birthday would still be on a budget but as she said, she wants to celebrate it with friends so there :)
Cake – will order it online (Cake Fashion)
Cupcakes – will order it online (Cupcake For Less)
Invitations – digiscrap! and send it online, too! FREE
Venue – Kidsahoy, of course
Chips – Tacos in Divisoria
Dips – home prepared
Hotdogs & Marshmallows – home prepared
Spaghetti – c/o Tita Mimi of Kidsahoy
Barbecue – c/o Tita Mel of Enoch
Loots – Divisoria, bags c/o mama
So basically, that’s it. I am so lazy and uber busy to prepare anything but I have to :)
I will update this post for the prices.
