We got invites for Sunny the Duck’s 2nd Birthday Party in Fun Ranch. We didn’t know it was a Chocolate Birthday Party until the day of the party itself. Should I have known earlier I wouldn’t allow Yona to attend it. Yoe rarely gets sick and if she ever does it would always be becaue of tonsilitis so we do not allow her to eat chocolates.

During the party, she could not help but ate a little. I just allowed her provided that she will drink water after eating.

She got so amazed with the chocolate fountain! Good thing there were other activities that caught her attention.

Everything offered were chocolates, the buffet, the prizes and the goodies.

It’s been a year already but it seems that you’re still haunted by me and my online presence.

Why the hell search (or should I say google) your name and the name of my blog as if they’re related? Are you too afraid of what I will say against you? Why? because you know too well that you did something wrong not just to me but to everyone who left.

I will no longer mention your name because knowing you, I know you will not fight fairly – you’ve been a coward eversince. You have used your power to remove people from your path, God knows what you can do to someone like me.

I am telling myself to forget I ever met you and your puppets. I can’t erase it though. Nine years…nine long years.

As you have known I am working full time to a UK-based employer I met through oDesk so his payments for me are received through the oDesk system which I then transfer to Paypal for withdrawal. We agreed on a per week payment basis so basically I am receiving my weekly payments from him every Sunday.

I prepared a payment timeline for easy reference:

*Bank processing days takes about 2 – 5 days depending on the bank. Unionbank takes only 3-4 days including weekends (yes, including Saturdays and Sundays) but my 2 experiences with BDO varied. My first took two days and my last took 5 days!

oDesk to Paypal – $1

Paypal to Bank – Php50.00 if amount is less than Php7,000 otherwise it’s FREE.

Unionbank – Php0.00

BDO – Php200.00

BPI – Php200.00

So basically my deductions every payday if I use Unionbank is just $1 and Php50 (>Php100) if it’s below Php7000 but $1 + Php250 (>Php300) if I use other banks.

This week was full of ‘firsts’. Aside from my first time to make a website, it was also Yona’s first time to be a flower girl.

Mommy was so excited!

Last Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Metrogate Dasmariñas, Yona played around instead of joining the ceremony hahaha She’s still a baby talaga!

The site is all about a doll “Baby Annabell” that acts like a real baby. IMHO it is like Baby Alive though I am not sure which one is better. My daughter’s so not into baby dolls. She love dogs better.

While most people hate Sundays because it could mean “tomorrow is another work day!”, I myself love it because it’s the only time that I can focus on fixing and adding entries to my blog. Wow. It’s been a year na pala.

It was August 8 last year when I finally said goodbye to SPi Legal (see blog here). I was disappointed with myself because deep in my heart I did not want to leave and quit. But things happen for a reason and it took me one full year to see it.

Life was not bed of roses the past year. We have been through a lot of hardships and I made a lot of stupid mistakes but the lessons I learned were enough to guide me in this Journey of being an Entrepremom.

Life is better now but we are fighting to surpass all the hardships positively. I used to whine a lot but with the help of Mommy Joanne who urged me to face each day with a smile and to be ALWAYS positive despite everything. It was hard for someone like me who’s pinanganak na may galit sa mundo! But I was willing to do it! and I did. True enough, good things started to pour in and like what she just told me, “it’s not luck, you are attracting good things ”

To all my friends who inspired me to take the road less travelled instead, thank you so much! This is not a perfect journey but I know that I will succeed.

I am no quitter.
