is the Cozy Coupe from Little Tikes!

She can stay in this vehicle for so long. Should I have known that she’ll love this, I would have bought her one when she was younger. She’s 4 now so I think its too impractical to buy her toys made for toddlers.

Cozy Coupe comes in so many designs. Yona’s asking for the Princess Cozy Coupe, the vehicle that fits a princess:

It’s a staple in most American homes because kids love being behind the wheels and adults love the durability of Little Tikes. I don’t really mind owning one since its the type of vehicle that would not need a cheap auto insurance.

The Cozy Coupe is her favorite in Austin Land – she would drive for so many minutes and wouldn’t let it go. The same thing happens whenever we’re in the grocery with Cozy Coupe pushcarts! I just hope that these establishments could provide more Cozy Coupes because I don’t want to go into trouble of fighting with fellow shopping moms over this vehicle!

Little Tikes Cozy Coupe $49.99

The last time I’ve had ‘bangs’ was when I was in 4th grade so when Henry Calayag personally cut my bangs short, I told him that I felt like a 4th grader again!

He told me that bangs will make me sexier and provocative, so heck, why not? I took the plunge and I swear, I felt so good after that one single snip!

They cut my bangs and colored my hair with L’oreal . Oh well, the color didn’t do something much to my hair – long story! haha Imagine this, after almost 1 hour of ‘heating’, the color change is still not visible. *sigh*

Before

After

See the HUGE difference?

I am no longer scared of diet pill side effects because I am now more convinced that I don’t need all these to be sexy ;-) Sexiness is all in the mind, I think of me as one so I am one hahaha

Thanks Henry Calayag of Henry Calayag Salon. I owe you much!

Super late post!

Planning is one subject I hate so to keep things and my schedule in order,  I maintain 2 planners each year – a handy one that I carry on my bag wherever I go and a larger one like Starbucks or BDJ. But despite it all, I still forget a lot of things. *sigh*

Guess what? Earlier this year I won a Yummy Planner from Let’s Go Sago! so that means I am now maintaining 3 planners, yehey!

and a note from Jonel!

The moment I got the planner I already started looking ways on how to keep my ideal weight on www.bestwaytoloseweight.org because I’d surely gain lots with all the food on this planner!

I am huge fan of Yummy Magazine so getting their planner is a sweet treat for me. If you want to get one like this, Yummy 2010 Planners are still available on major bookstores and Health & Beauty branches.

Happy Eating!

If there’s one thing I love during the Spring Festival or Chinese New Year, its because of the food prepared especially for that day. Pansit, chicken, sweet and sour pork, and the best part? Receiving tikoy from friends! This festival makes me want to look for the best weight loss supplement around. I’ll sure gain weight after this!

Now back to the famous tikoy,

Tikoy is made up of ground glutinous rice flour, lard, water, wheat starch, and sugar. Before, there are only two types of tikoy available, the brown and white – it varies depending on the sugar used but now you can find a lot of tikoy varieties being sold like strawberry, pandan, chocolate and more.

The usual way of cooking tikoy is to dip it in egg and frying it but this evening, my uncle showed me his way of cooking tikoy – yummy crunchy tikoy:

Crunchy Chinese Tikoy

Ingredients:
1 round tikoy
lumpia wrapper
brown sugar or egg

1. Cut the tikoy lengthwise, .5″ x 2″
2. Dip it on egg OR roll in brown sugar
3. Wrap in lumpia wrapper
4. Deep fry until golden brown

Hubby and I have always spent every Valentine’s Day with family and not as a couple. I don’t know, we just think Valentine’s Day is so overrated and far over-hyped. We think that Valentine’s Day should be celebrated simply and with the whole family. There’s so much to do during this day, and yes this does not include dining out because for sure, all restaurants and malls are jam packed with people and the food are outrageously priced as well. Here are some of the activities that we do that you can try, too!

1.) Potluck lunch and dinners. It has always been a family tradition to cook food and bring it to my folks’ house. This is inexpensive yet enjoyable. Karaoke and drinking follows :)

2.) Park Visits. This year we are planning to spend Valentine’s Day in the park to relax and have fun. The boys can go fishing, wall climbing, try the zip line, try the paint ball, swim and run around as the girls relax. This is one way to bond with each member of the family without spending too much.

3.) Art Attack. Let your creativity juices flow by making cards, book marks, and photo frames. Your kid will surely love this! There are more activities online, find the one that suits you in a free web directory that you feel comfortable in using.

4.) Bake and bake and bake. Drop the idea of buying overly expensive cakes and bake one for your loved ones. Nothing beats home made cakes!

Got some family activities to share? Add them up on the comments section and I’d be willing to include them on my list.

Much love,
Entrepremom

Its only February but we can already feel the heat of Summer. Here are some tips to keep your whole family safe and healthy during this season.

1.) Always drink water. Water will keep your body hydrated and will prevent you from suffering from heat stroke.

2.) Dress lightly. Wear cotton clothes as much as possible.

4.) Wear sunblock everyday. This lotion will protect your skin from the cancer causing UV rays.

5.) Avoid public pools. This is the season when everyone wants to dip in the pool and there is a huge chance that you get diseases such as sore eyes, colds, eczema and more if you swim in a public pool. If you really need to, hire a private pool for your family’s safety.

6.) Use anti-insect lotion. The number of dengue related cases in hospitals increase during summer. Avoid it by putting insect repellent lotion.

Do you have tips to share? Feel free to leave them here.

Much love,
Entrepremom

Here are some skin facts and reasons why we should love our skin:

  1. Skin is the body’s largest organ and receives one-third of all the blood circulating through the body
  2. Beneath the surface, your skin is 90% water, enabling it to act as a moisture and nutrient reserve for your entire body. So keeping your skin well hydrated is critical not only to the well being of the skin, but to the well being of your body overall.
  3. When your body is low on vitamins, it will sacrifice the skin to support other organs and tissues.
  4. Every 28 days, your skin renews itself completely
  5. Skin is the ultimate defense against bacteria, pollution and chemicals that attempt to invade your body. Skin is also waterproof.
  6. It takes as much as 8 hours for skin to replenish the moisture lost during a shower.
  7. Skin is a barrier that shields you from pollution and chemicals. Skin is also waterproof.
  8. Exercise helps maintain healthy skin: improving your circulation which in turn helps to deliver oxygen and nutrients to your skin
  9. Promo Tip: Watson’s has a promo on Vaseline Healthy White. Buy 1 200ml and get the 100ml for FREE. Each bottle of 200ml costs P143.

Get that beautiful skin you want with Vaseline!
