My daughter is quite small for her age and I’m blaming the other 50% of her genes. But there’s this old wive’s tale that says that the nutrients she get from her food intake goes to her hair instead of her body so a thin child’s hair should be cut short para tumaba. How true is this?

I love girls with long locks, one reason why I don’t bring her to the salon for a quick trim. Is there truth about this tale? Somebody please enlighten me
