Project Happiness Bakehouse

Let’s face it, times are rough and with my little girl now being in school, hubby and I have  to work harder to augment our family income.

Having said that, I got an idea to put up a home-based online bakeshop Project Happiness Bakehouse. I’d be selling cupcakes and bars for everyone’s sweet cravings. I have classic chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, Nutella cupcakes, revel bars and more.

All of these are freshly baked and made using the finest ingredients so you get your money’s worth ;-)

With very few online bakeshops here in Cavite, I am positive that I will succeed in this endeavor.

Thank you!

Michelle Phan is Love!

I couldn’t get enough of Michelle Phan’s make-up, beauty, and fashion tutorials. In fact, her D.I.Y videos on YouTube is part of my everyday.

Michelle Phan is a Vietnamese-American make-up artist and spokesperson for Lancôme. Her 98 D.I.Y videos on YouTube to date have been viewed for over 150,000,000 times making her the guru of all beauty gurus!

My personal favorites are her videos on lip and face exfoliating, moisturizing, and hydrating using organic ingredients such as sugar, extra virgin olive oil, honey, jasmine rice and more. Her skin is very clear, something that I envy. For sure she has no pronexin reviews on her channel as she doesn’t need it.

Follow Michelle Phan and meet her potty-trained bunny Mr. Bun Bun ;-)

How to Commute to Enchanted Kingdom

I have made several posts about Enchanted Kingdom’s newest attractions but never on how to commute to the magical place from Manila. Here’s how:

  • Ayala Center Terminal in Makati - A special shuttle travels from Ayala Center to Enchanted Kingdom and vice-versa. Special ticket rates apply.
  • By Public Utility Bus – At Taft corner Buendia, ride a bus going to Balibago Complex and get off at WalterMart. From there ride a tricycle to Enchanted Kingdom.

We are from Cavite so what we did was ride a bus to Dasmarinas, Cavite, get-off at Robinson’s Dasma and ride a van to Sta. Rosa. Easy-peasy. You’ll know that you’re already in Sta. Rosa because you’ll see lots of used rvs for sale along the highway.

Here are the park’s latest attractions:
Zoori Adventures
Dora & Diego’s 4D Adventures
BiKi Waterworld

Park Schedule:

Enchanted Kingdom Park Schedule from April 3 – June 6, 2010
Mondays – Fridays: 2PM to 9PM
Saturdays – Sundays: 11AM to 9PM with Fireworks at 8PM

Poor Clock

We’ve been cleaning since Sunday evening so things were transferred from one location to another (sa tagalog pa, inikot yung mga gamit sa bahay). This is a major clean-up actually since my family are celebrating Christmas in our small home. Okay na eh, we transferred our sofa, dining table, etc. with no problem. It was hard but I did not break anything! Ang galing! I am so clumsy so it’s so surprising that I did not break anything.

But as I was resting I thought of transferring our old wall clock…unfortunately yes, I broke the clock! One stupid move.

Entrepremom_clock1

I can’t leave home just to buy a new one so I used a little creativity to make it look pretty again.

Entrepremom_clock2

I gathered enough stars from an old Christmas hat, a portion of the hat was used to make the letters in Yona’s stockings.

At first I thought of using my ever reliable Turbo glue, but it was so runny that I decided to use a glue gun to stick the stars to the clock crack.

Here’s the final product:Entrepremom_clock3

Now our clock is happy again! Festive mood pa ;-)

Our Little Christmas Tree

Last night we put up of little Christmas tree. It’s just a small tree we bought for less than P100 ($2) last year. We prettified it a bit this year because Yona’s already demanding that it should have ribbons and chains PLUS the Christmas skirt. Yes, she liked it with a skirt.

Entrepremom_Xmas Tree Our theme this year is metallic red. We adorned the inexpensive tree with red balls, ribbons of red and gold, and chain.

How about you, care to share photos of your Christmas tree?

Prettify Old Christmas Stockings

I found some old Christmas stockings and thought of putting it to use this year. I bought these plain stockings two years ago for an office program, but I never got the chance to use it.

Entrepremom_stockings

So, do you have old stockings that you want to prettify? The entire process may take time but it’s really easy and simple!

Materials:

- old Christmas stockings
- extra cloth or old Christmas ornaments for the design
- black thread or green for contrast
- glue gun
- pencil
- cotton

For the letters, I use fabric from old Christmas hats that we can no longer use as some portions are already tattered.

Cut out the letters for your kid’s name, stuff it with cotton and hand sew the sides.

When you’re done, glue the letters to the stockings and you’re done! Easy, right?

If you are not comfortable with sewing, you can simply glue old Christmas ornaments on the stockings.

On this one, I used the star I used for our Christmas tree last year. This made me think on what to put on the tree this time. Hahaha!

Now, who says Christmas decors have to be expensive?

Cheap Art Sets from Curiosity Kits: Tooth Fairy Pillow

I was roaming around Shangrila yesterday when I noticed that Kidz Station has several items on sale. I was broke but I know that I have to find a yoyo for Yona. They have no yoyos on sale so I scouted for more toys. I found imported art sets from Curiosity Kits. It was priced Php249.75 before but they slashed it down to Php50. I asked the sales girl if the contents are still intact, she assured me that it were. “Yung kahon lang mam, kasi medyo sira na.” Oh, no problem with me. After all, it was just a pasalubong for my little girl.

Anyhoo, I got three sets:

1. Tooth Fairy Pillow
2. Princess Wands
3. Make Believe Fantasy Fairy

I’ll discuss more of the second and third sets in my succeeding posts. Let me tell you something on the first art set that we opened, the Tooth Fairy Pillow.
