Seldom do I get a chance to attend conventions because it’s either I am busy or couldn’t afford the fees. Yesterday was special because I had the opportunity to attend the VIPuringII Convention held at the Le Pavillon, Metropolitan Park, Pasay City.
The exclusive event for Puregold “Tindahan ni Aling Puring” Gold members was also Puregold and P&G’s way of thanking entrepreneurs and retailers for their support and loyalty all these years.
The event was actually the second run after their successful first run in 2013. It made a huge impact on entrepreneurs and retailers. It has become Puregold and P&G’s advocacy to make entrepreneurs and store owners feel their importance and make them realize their importance in the country’s economy.
We will always be supportive of our partners and we will continue to equip them with the right tools and the right products that will help them grow their businesses. We plan to have this event as an integral Puregold and P&G tradition so that we can encourage them to do well and excel in their endeavors,” Raffy Fajardo, Marketing Director of P&G Distributing, Inc.
The the convention, the GOLD members have had the opportunities to win exciting prices and enjoy lots of on-the-day deals and markdowns on some P&G products.
How to Level Up One’s Business (Mr. Chinky Tan)
The highlight of the event centered on an inspiring talk by no less than Mr. Chink Positive (Chink+) himself, Mr. Chinkee Tan. The topic? How to Level Up One’s Business, something that I totally need after running an online bakehouse for more than 3 years.
If we want to upgrade, we need to CHANGE! – Chink+
Word. Easy to say but hard to do, but seriously, we all have to accept that the only constant thing in this world is CHANGE. We cannot move up if we fixate ourselves to our current strategies and ways. The saying, “If you do not innovate, you evaporate. If you don’t improve, you become extinct!” is indeed true especially in the business sector where the competition is so stiff.
So as a
struggling entrepreneur soon to be millionaire, how do I make my way to the top?
- CHANGE YOUR MINDSET, missy!
– Smallness or “tingi” mentality
– Negative mindset
– Poverty mentality
Buying in small sizes oftentimes cost us more than buying in bulk! I know this is quite hard especially to people who earn less than the ideal (that includes me!) and this mentality is already in our blood and system: hello sari-sari store, sachet and all! But with the right budgetting knowledge and willingness to overcome this, we can all do it. — this is going to be a loooong conversation, it deserves another post. But if you’re struggling and only ‘getting by’, don’t worry, we are on the same boat hahaha!
Do you believe that MINDSET + ACTION = RESULT? So….
Negative Mindset + Negative Action = Negative Results
Negative Mindset + Positive Action = Negative Results
Positive Mindset + Negative Action = Negative Results
Positive Mindset + Positive Action = Positive Results
You cannot live a winning life if you do not have a winning mindset. Think positive! Tama?
If someone asks how you’re doing, tell them straight-face that you are rakin’ millions! sounds absurd yes, but by removing the poverty mentality (“okay lang…”, “eto getting by”) you are opening up yourself to more positive vibes and blessings! The universe will only give you back what you’ve given to the universe! Dream and live positivity and you’ll get positivity!!!
- UPGRADE YOUR WAY OF THINKING
– Read a lot of books
– Attend seminars
– Ask experts
In order to achieve your goal, you need to arm yourself with the right knowledge about your business. You cannot grow a business that you do not know. To upgrade your business, you must upgrade your products and capital. You can only achieve this by reading and reading some more, by attending seminars and by asking the experts in that field.
Remember that money will not grow money until you till and feed it!
It is not how much money you make,
It is not how much money you save,
It is how much money you grow!
The information we received from Chink+ was overwhelming!
- “Start small, think big.”
- “The desire to learn is greater than your fear of falling.”
- “Money is only the result of a job well done.”
The bakehouse, despite its location (or lack thereof), earns a lot. Actually MORE than what we actually need. What it needs right now is a proper cash flow management. It earns big and spends big as well, something that has to be changed before it spirals down.
Thank you so much, Chink+ for that well spent day!
