Now that we’ve decided to homeschool both of my girls, I’ve been racking my brains on how to come up with a good curriculum beneficial for them, and uhm… easy for us, haha!
I must admit though that there is no perfect curriculum, that even the best thought ones have loopholes and will not work on everyone. One good thing about homeschooling is that you can shift from one curriculum to another if you see that it isn’t working on your kid. You can easily ditch a material and move on to the next one without the approval of anyone. As the homeschooling parent, you take full responsibility on your child’s education so you can choose the ones that perfectly works on your child.
Right now, we are gearing towards independent homeschooling. It’s one huge step and brave, I may say because for one, we are once again NEWBIES in this field and my daughter might face serious adjustments from being in a traditional schooler into a relaxed homeschooler. In my heart, though, I know that everything’s going to be alright.

- Music – as much as I would like to let her play the sax (been researching about it and came across the prices, types, affordable alto sax reeds), she really prefers the piano so piano it is!
Super thankful to the Man up above for surrounding us with angels! My friend Leah gave us this beautiful portable piano yesterday! God is indeed so good!
