Even the richest man on earth has bad days but they would often use their money to buy happiness…I am having a bad day but I’m not rich so does this mean I’d be crappy until this day’s over?

*sigh*

It was supposed to be a perfect day. Clear schedule, no rush tasks – the three of us were decided to just stay home. The hubby cooked my favorite dish – ‘tungol’ in Waray – I don’t want to go into details because some abhor the idea of eating this dish ^_^ I told my husband that I wanted to watch Side A on Rob but decided later on to bake compost cookies for Yona and her friends.

But ANY perfect day could turn into a disaster.

6:45 – I noticed that the first batch of cookies were undercooked. I popped in the next batch and adjusted the temperature but after a few minutes it was still uncooked!

oh, crap. so the oven’s broken.

The oven is the most important thing in a baker’s life. I cannot bake anything without an oven.

No bake = no money.

Then there’s the crappy universal remote my husband bought from the ‘manlalako’. It was sold to him for P250 but got it for P150 because it was the only unit left – and like most ‘last units’, it was a failure. It wasn’t functioning at all despite our efforts to make it work.

Naawa na nga kami, niloko pa kami.

But what I hate most about this day? Sprouting pimples! Currently I have 3 growing pimples on my face and it is very, very irritating. It’s painful and it seems to be growing every hour!

I’m glad that this day will soon be over. I’ll pray for a brighter one tomorrow.

I’m a worried mom talking ranting here. I worry for my child and for all the kids who watch prime time television.

I just hope that ads like these should be completely banned from national television.

Unlike my ‘surprise pregnancy’ with Yoe, I have all the time now to prepare for baby number 2′s arrival. But in as much as I want to let Mother Nature take its course, I need to do something to ensure that my baby and I will have a healthy start

Here are some things that I will do in the coming days. You can also follow this if you are planning to have a baby soon.

• Pray and ask for guidance. You all know how important praying is. This time I’m praying that I’ll be given a chance to give birth normally, I don’t want another gruesome experience in C-Section.
• Visit your OB-Gyne to discuss your overall health as it would affect the baby. The obstetrician will see to it that your body is fit for another baby. As for my case, I need to visit her as I suffered some serious womb problems when I gave birth to Yona.
• Say no to coffee. I’ll drop this very bad habit now because caffeine is definitely not good for the baby.
• Bye Slenda plans. Sad…I haven’t even started taking these quick weight loss pills but I’m saying goodbye to it now I’ll pop you soon as soon as I pop
• Eat healthy. Darn! I hate this part haha. I’m such a fast food junkie.

Aside from all of these, the hubby and I also has to prepare for the extra expenses coming our way. This means that I need to work longer hours and consider other money-making sidelines to make both ends meet.

Raising another child requires a lot of moolah but the joy that he or she will bring makes it all worth it.
