I first saw a stall of electronic cigarettes in SM Bacoor and I was like “what’s this?” “Alternative po sa yosi” said the staff. Oh, it got me intrigued so I did some research.

Also known as e-cigarette, is a battery-powered device that provides inhaled doses of nicotine by way of a vaporized solution. It is an alternative to smoked tobacco products, such as cigarettes, cigars, or pipes.

The health effects are still unknown though, and it will take years for results to come out. The e-cigarette is also facing LOTS of legality issues until proven safe.
