…so here I am back to serious blogging again.

First and foremost, I do not consider myself a writer because I know that I’m such a failure in technical and creative writing. It’s not my forte though I love writing so much hence this website. I’m more of a person who loves tweaking websites and scripts and someone who couldn’t sleep until she gets it right.

Second, my grammar sucks most of the time. I am NOT conscious about tenses, subject-verb agreement, and what have you’s. For me, as long as it sounds OK and doesn’t hurt my ear, it’s fine with me.

Third, my vocabulary is so poor that I need extra effort to brush it up. I need to use strong verbs to make my work more appealing. It’s harder than it seems, sa totoo lang.

Finally, my English is Filipino English. So what? I am a Filipino so don’t expect me to use American or British terms, OK? I am not ashamed to say that I write and speak Filipino English.

I don’t have what it takes to be a writer, but nobody can stop me from making serious writing on my blog. Here, I no longer need anyone’s approval or meet somebody else’s standards before my work gets published.

On a side note, I am checking websites on How To Improve Your Writing and noting a lot of tips. True enough, I saw some of my common mistakes! The best thing here is,  I am willing to learn all of these to improve my craft.

Study shows that 52% of bloggers consider themselves as journalists. I am not. I’m just a mom blogger who built a site to earn – so I’m quitting writing…for now.

I’ll be back with vengeance.
