We are planning to have another baby this year. If God permits it, I’ll conceive this July so I’ll be preparing my body for conception as early as now.
Unlike my ‘surprise pregnancy’ with Yoe, I have all the time now to prepare for baby number 2′s arrival. But in as much as I want to let Mother Nature take its course, I need to do something to ensure that my baby and I will have a healthy start
Here are some things that I will do in the coming days. You can also follow this if you are planning to have a baby soon.
- Pray and ask for guidance. You all know how important praying is. This time I’m praying that I’ll be given a chance to give birth normally, I don’t want another gruesome experience in C-Section.
- Visit your OB-Gyne to discuss your overall health as it would affect the baby. The obstetrician will see to it that your body is fit for another baby. As for my case, I need to visit her as I suffered some serious womb problems when I gave birth to Yona.
- Say no to coffee. I’ll drop this very bad habit now because caffeine is definitely not good for the baby.
- Bye Slenda plans. Sad…I haven’t even started taking these quick weight loss pills but I’m saying goodbye to it now

- Eat healthy. Darn! I hate this part haha. I’m such a fast food junkie.
Aside from all of these, the hubby and I also has to prepare for the extra expenses coming our way. This means that I need to work longer hours and consider other money-making sidelines to make both ends meet.
Raising another child requires a lot of moolah but the joy that he or she will bring makes it all worth it.
